Stockovaa is the point of sale, inventory and HR platform that supermarkets, pharmacies, retailers and restaurants run their day on. Most of our growth so far has come from businesses telling other businesses. We want that to keep happening, and we want a deliberate plan underneath it.
This role owns that plan. You will set the direction for our field and digital marketing, run the team that executes it, and be accountable for how many businesses start using Stockovaa each month.
It is a hands on role in a small company. Some weeks you are writing strategy, and some weeks you are standing in a market explaining stock counts to a shop owner.
What you will do
- Set the quarterly growth plan and the numbers it is measured against.
- Lead and coach the brand activation and field marketing team.
- Run our on the ground campaigns across Lagos and, as we expand, beyond it.
- Own the digital side too: content, search, paid campaigns and the landing pages behind them.
- Work with product and support on what new customers actually struggle with, and feed that back into the message.
- Report on cost per acquisition, activation and retention honestly, including when the number is bad.
What we are looking for
- Four or more years in marketing or growth, at least one of them leading other people.
- Evidence that something you ran moved a number, and a clear account of how you knew.
- Comfortable with both field marketing and digital channels. This role is not one or the other.
- Strong written English. Most of the plan lives in documents other people have to act on.
- Based in Lagos or willing to relocate. There is regular in person work.
Nice to have
- You have sold or marketed software to small and medium businesses.
- You know the Nigerian retail or pharmacy landscape first hand.
- You are comfortable in analytics tools and can pull your own numbers.
