Channels gives a product a shareable link, counts the clicks, and serves your whole catalogue to Meta Commerce Manager as a feed.

Channels is one sidebar entry with four screens behind it. Channels itself shows what your shared links earned. Channels catalogue is where you choose what to share. Meta feed is the address Meta reads your catalogue from. Channels settings decides where a shared link goes and what your messages say.
Revenue and orders are not attributed yet. The dashboard says so on the screen, and the Revenue and Orders tiles read Not measured yet rather than showing a figure. Clicks and Published products are real. Do not judge a campaign on the revenue column, because nothing is being written into it.
Open Channels settings before anything else, because a shared link needs somewhere to go.
The feed is a web address Meta reads on its own schedule. You need a Meta Commerce Manager account for this, and nothing else. There is no app to create and no access token.
Changing the address breaks every feed already set up in Meta. The old address stops working immediately, so only regenerate when you mean to reconnect Meta afterwards.
Meta feed shows two rows worth knowing. Feed is one of Not set up, Ready or Needs attention. Build is one of Nothing running, Queued, Building or Last build failed. Products left out and Errors tell you how much of the catalogue Meta will actually receive.
A link you copied opens nothing. The product page a shared link points at is still being built, the same unfinished piece that affects Showcase. The click is still counted.
